QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 3 years in professional cooking (restaurant, hotel, or events)
  • Certification: TESDA Food Production NC III (required; expired certificate acceptable)
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
  • Skilled in modern cooking techniques and the use of kitchen equipment
  • Creative, organized, and resilient under pressure
  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Language: IELTS B1 (English) and GLT A1 & A2 (German)
  • Advantageous: Background in sustainable or child-friendly cuisine, live cooking, or event catering. Certification is an advantage, but not required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) in both à la carte and buffet settings.
  • Work independently across various kitchen stations (e.g., Garde manger, Entremetier, Saucier).
  • Ensure food quality, freshness, and appealing presentation.
  • Maintain high hygiene standards and comply with HACCP regulations.
  • Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and reduce food waste.
  • Support catering for events, themed buffets, and live cooking activities.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service teams; engage respectfully with guests.
