QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a qualified Second Engineer to fit the job.

Degree in Marine Engineering or Electrical Engineering with valid documentation, with at least two years’ experience as Second Engineer.

a. STCW certificates, b. Certificate of Competency/Proficiency, c. Seaman Book, d. Training & Experience Certificates , STCW III/2, STCW VI/17|

Must have valid MARLIN English Test Certificate or equivalent maritime English proficiency

Oil and Chemical tanker experience will be an added advantage.

Well spoken and written English 10\10

Has Excellent knowledge of Marine Operations and has operational knowledge and technical skill as well as being able to understand the barge / shore interface
