Qualifications:
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Wok Cook? You can work in Australia and build a life you’ve always wanted.
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in general finishing carpentry for commercial fit-outs, including door installation, skirting, cabinetry, hardware fitting, and feature wall paneling, with a focus on high-quality, clean finishes.
- Proficient in wall and ceiling framing systems, with knowledge of products such as steel studs, top hats, and suspended ceiling systems.
- Skilled in ceiling fixing for commercial fit-outs, as well as drywall installation, sheeting, and finishing.
- Experienced in installing compressed fibre cement (CFC) linings and external cladding systems, ensuring proper weatherproofing and fixing methods.
- Strong knowledge of lightweight steel framing techniques and ability to install steel stud partitions and ceiling grids with precise alignment, plumb walls, and consistent setouts.
- Ability to read and interpret commercial construction plans and technical/shop drawings, including manufacturer-specific installation requirements.
- Has good communication skills to communicate with the client and follow instructions
